Factors Responsible For Depression

There are various factors responsible for depression. Some people may have family history of depression and that is inherited generation after generation, whether inherited or not, major depressive disorder is often associated with changes in brain structures or brain function. People who have low self-esteem and always judge himself in the world as the pessimist, he can not believe on himself and lead a stressful life and ultimately become the victim of depression. Sometimes, family conflicts can also be a reason for the depression. That may arise by financial condition, serious loss or damage to the property, sudden change in lifestyle, and unsatisfying sexual relationship among couples. Other major factor for depression is the serious physical ailments. Major health problems like heart attack, stroke, cancer, Parkinson's disease, and hormonal disorders can cause depressive illness because prolonged illness lead to the feeling of irritability and people are unwilling to give adequate attention towards their illness, feeling of sickness may lead them to major depression.
